Advanced Detection Seminar

Our Advanced Detection Seminar is designed for K9 handlers, working dog trainers, and agencies looking to improve detection reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.
This seminar goes beyond basic detection training and focuses on solving real-world detection problems that teams encounter in the field. We’ll combine classroom instruction with hands-on, scenario-based training.
Topics covered include:
- Advanced detection training methodology
- Odor theory
- Problem solving
- Proofing
- Search strategy
- Maintenance training
Practical training scenarios are conducted in realistic environments such as vehicles, buildings, warehouses, in addition to outdoor deployment areas. These scenarios progressively challenge K9 teams and develop stronger detection performance under the stress of operational conditions.
The overall focus of this Seminar is building detection teams that are effective in real deployments – not just in training sessions.
