Sgt Gary Simpson and K9 Abby recently located 2 kilograms of cocaine during a routine traffic stop in Iredell County, NC. The cocaine was hidden in a vehicle traveling through North Carolina. This seizure is one of many that this team has been responsible for since graduating from handler school a few months ago. Keep up the good work Gary and Abby!
K9 Scarlet, of the Kingsland Police Department in Georgia, recently alerted on a vehicle during a routine traffic stop, leading to a drug arrest. Wayne Smith, Scarlet's handler, stopped the vehicle in Kingsland and decided to allow Scarlet the opportunity to sniff the vehicle. After a positive alert, a search revealed 38 doses of MDMA, concealed inside a sealed metal container. Scarlet and her handler recently completed their handler school at Highland Canine Training, LLC. Way to go Scarlett and Wayne!
